A New Orleans police dog that was left inside a cruiser destroyed the interior of the car before collapsing and dying of heat exhaustion, reports WDSU.com.
Primo, A belgian Malinois, died on May 27. Today, a crime commission released photos of the cruiser, which shows the seats and equipment torn to shreds.
Initially the New Orleans police began an administrative investigation into Primo's death, but now the Metropolitan Crime Commission is demanding a full criminal probe.
