What is Project Mutt?

Project Mutt is an online community that offers a place for news aggregation, intelligent opinions and debate, and information resource for dog lovers. News releases and advocacy articles will occasionally be issued to media centres in the hopes of raising awareness in topical and current dog-related issues.

The site will also have space reserved to assist shelters and rescues looking to place animals and raise awareness.

Project Mutt is not an animal rights or welfare group. Charitable status, licensing and other government status will not be sought.

Joomla! open-source technology is utilized to reduce costs.

Project Mutt is run by a group of journalists and pet experts from the Toronto-area of Ontario. Anonymity of these users is in place for their protection.
